Kruso Kapital S.p.A., listed since January 2024 on the Euronext Growth market of Borsa Italiana, was established under its new corporate name in November 2022 (operational since August 1, 2019, under its previous corporate name ProntoPegno S.p.A., later amended).
It is the first operator belonging to a banking group active both in the pawn credit business and in the auction market for precious items, works of art, and other collectible assets. In 2022, after experiencing strong growth in Italy through the opening of 15 branches, the acquisition of portfolios from other operators, and the expansion of its customer base, the company began its internationalization process by establishing in Greece the company ProntoPegno ΕΝΕΧΥΡΟ ΑΓΟΡΑ ΧΡΥΣΟΥ, dedicated to pawn credit, and by opening a branch in Athens.
In November of the same year, with the acquisition of Kruso Art Auction House, Kruso Kapital diversified its business by entering the auction house sector, managing, through art lending, personal loans secured by works of art and other collectible assets. Finally, in November 2024, it acquired in Portugal the company Pignus - Crédito Económico Popular, which operates under the CEP brand and has 16 branches located between Lisbon and Porto.
