
Kruso Kapital S.p.A., listed on the Euronext Milan market of the Italian Stock Exchange, was created under a new company name in November 2022 (operating since August 1, 2019 under the previous company name ProntoPegno S.p.A., subsequently amended) and is the first operator belonging to a banking group operating in both the pawn credit business and the auction house market for precious objects, works of art, and other collectibles.
Through its own brands, products, and innovative services, the company has been active in the pawn credit sector since 2017 with ProntoPegno-branded branches in Italy, in Greece since 2022 with ProntoPegno ΕΝΕΧΥΡΟ ΑΓΟΡΑ ΧΡΥΣΟΥ, and in Portugal since 2024 with Pignus – Crèdito Economico Popular, offering loans to individuals secured by a precious object as collateral. Through Kruso Art, a brand of the Art-Rite auction house acquired in 2022, it is a leading player in the modern, contemporary, ancient, and numismatic art markets, as well as in collectible segments such as philately and luxury fashion. The company is also active in art lending with the Art-Kredit product, which allows for immediate loans against artworks.
Headquartered in Milan, Kruso Kapital operates 16 branches in Italy, including Asti, Brescia, Civitavecchia, Florence, Genoa, Livorno, Mestre, Naples, Palermo, Parma, Pisa, Rimini, Rome, Sanremo, and Turin. It also has two branches in Greece (Athens and Piraeus), and 16 branches in Portugal, including Lisbon and Porto. Through its positioning and presence outside Italy, the company is a pan-European leader in the pawnshop business.
